BMU INSTALLATION SECTOR
The purpose of this is to briefly introduce ourselves as Lanco Engineering and Contracting WLL to you.
We are a LANCO group of companies, one of the most famous leading groups. The High Star is merged into Group in 2020.
DAVIT SYSTEM
A davit system consists of two primary components, a base and an arm. The base is a permanent fixture to the building structure and the arm is typically portable with the ability to be raised, lowered and removed. In most cases a davit system will be used to rig a Powered Platform; however, a davit system can be used with other forms of suspended equipment such as a single cage or a bosun’s chair.
Davit systems can be broken into two distinct categories with several subcategories. The first primary category is the ground rigged davit system.
OUTRIGGER BEAM
LANCO designs and engineers a wide range of structurally secured outrigger beam systems that accommodate all roof conditions and are ideally suited for buildings that are under 300 feet height, are ground rigged and have sufficient inboard distance. Outriggers beam systems, like other suspension supports, provide a practical and efficient means for suspending platforms, bosun’s chairs and single work cages. With both portable and fixed outrigger systems available, our team of professional engineers will recommend an appropriate system that best caters to your building’s specific needs.
MONORAIL SYSTEMS
For buildings with hard-to-reach or otherwise inaccessible exterior or interior glass, LANCO recommends the installation of a custom-made monorail system. Monorail systems are typically used in conjunction with platforms, although they also accommodate both single work cages and bosun’s chairs.
At times indispensable, monorails are an essential tool for workers who need to access the underside of building overhangs, sloped glazing, sky lighting or any other tasks that may require continuous horizontal movement.
RIGGING SLEEVES
In general, rigging sleeves allow for safe and convenient access to primary suspension lines and lifelines through roofs, floors, walls or any other building element. Rigging sleeve systems are only recommended when all other forms of suspended maintenance systems prove insufficient.
In the event that suspension lines (or worker lifelines) cannot circumvent a building’s permanent architectural characteristics, the only remaining option is to pass through them. This unique advantage is only available through the exceptional engineering of the High Rise rigging sleeve system.
